About Laura

I have 13 years of classroom teaching experience in grades K - 4 and have worked with students of all ages in different settings. I also have extensive babysitting experience and have worked as an overnight summer camp counselor and wilderness trip leader (previously certified lifeguard and wilderness first responder)! I enjoy being outside, art, building, creative play, movement and cooking. Happy to help with homework and distance learning or provide enrichment activities that support reading, writing, math and science! Vaccinated/boosted and covid-cautious. Comfortable with pets but would prefer limited pet care responsibilities. I am mostly looking for daytime hours (8 a.m. - 7pm) but have some flexibility to work occasional evenings as needed.
