Hi there! I graduated in May 2017 from Temple University in Philadelphia with my BSEd. I currently teach kindergarten for ACPS. I have been teaching for 6 years and providing childcare for over 15 years. I am a military spouse and provided care for military families during my time in Alaska, so I have many references. I am originally from PA, but also taught and cared for children in Alaska. I am new to Virginia and looking to make connections here in my new home state. My experience is primarily in working with newborns, infants, toddlers and young children, but I also have cared for preteens and am comfortable taking on any number of children. I am an early childhood educator, have certifications in First Aid, CPR, as well as dyslexia, and multiple behavior trainings. Just a few things that I can help you with: doctors appointments, play dates, birthday parties, running errands, pet care, house cleaning, school functions, cooking, etc. I would love to meet you and your little ones!

Laura is the absolute best!!! She was our first date night and evening sitter for our 5 month old. We only got to have her for a few months because we moved away, but we sure do miss her!! She helped with daycare pickups and was willing to work very flexible evening hours!!! We wish we could have brought her with us, that's how great she is!
