I have been working in a classroom for autistic children in the Tempe school district for the past three years. I loved playing with the all the kids and helping them learn. I worked with kids all over the spectrum, from completely non-verbal and with all types of social challenges, to those almost completely integrated into typical classrooms. I left the school system because I decided that I would rather focus on only a couple of children and be more fully able to meet their needs.
