About Laura

I like working with kids because they're fun and keep me feeling young! I started working with kids as a babysitter at the age of 12. I also taught children's swimming lessons while in high school. In my spare time, I love baking, reading, and doing organizing projects. I also love giving service, taking walks, and going on bike rides with my hubby. I have been happily married for 32 years and have raised FOUR daughters. We recently became empty nesters and are enjoying this new phase of life. My skills include most everything that Moms do. I became a mother to the first of our 4 daughters in 1996 and am now enjoying being a mom to my adult daughters. I don't drink alcohol, smoke, or use any kind of drugs. Dark chocolate is my only vice. :) I recently went back to school and finished my Bachelor's degree in Family Science. I now spend a good amount of time doing volunteer service through my church so I am mainly interested in occasional or temporary childcare jobs.
