About Laura

Having grown up with 7 siblings and having raised 3 children of my own gives me invaluable experience in my profession as a nanny. Equally telling are the nurturing relationships that I have had the privilege of developing over the past years in my work as a nanny with 3 different families. (see references). My approach to child rearing is based on exposing children to a wide range of creative activities... arts and crafts, creative and cooperative play, etc. I also enjoy, if desired, organizing field trips in the community and/or accompanying children to outdoor experiences and classes. Prior to working as a professional nanny, I had the opportunity to be a caregiver for a wonderful elderly woman. I spent days and nights assisting with her daily routine and providing companionship.
