About Laura

I am a passionate animal lover (especially dogs!) who is looking for part time work giving animals love, attention and care! I have been a paid pet sitter for about 8 years. Recently, I also began volunteering to care for dogs and cats in need. I walk dogs every week at a stray rescue in St. Louis and occasionally, I help walk and care for dogs at a pet supply store when they have adoption events. Before college, I spent 9 summers on a ranch, taking care of about 110 horses, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, llamas, deer, donkeys, and rabbits. I worked at the ranch for three years as a Certified Horsemanship Association accredited horseback riding instructor (teaching girls from 5-15 beginning techniques through advanced bareback jumping) and I also taught vaulting, which is gymnastics on horseback. I am CPR certified and a certified lifeguard as well. I am a senior at Washington University in St. Louis. I have a 3. 89 GPA. I have 3 scholarships and belong to 2 honors societies. I am extremely responsible and I look forward to loving and caring for animals as if they were my own!

We hired Laura as our regularly scheduled dog walker. She has been with us for more than 6 months. She has been absolutely wonderful! She is the type of person you will feel comfortable having in your home and caring for your pets. She is highly responsible, very conscientious, and pleasant to have around! Our friends in the neighborhood have noticed what a good catch she is and have even asked her to babysit for them. She has my highest recommendation!
