About Laura

I was an elementary school teacher for 12 years, and I am actually returning back to school to earn a Master's in Science of Occupational Therapy. Hence, the reason I am looking for more flexible/part time work. :) I have been working with children most of my life (I come from a family with 6 children!) and have taught students in all grade levels, kindergarten through 6th grade. Some of my teaching experience occurred in Ecuador and Brazil where I lived for a total of 6 years working at international schools. In addition, I previously nannied for a family with a newborn for one year when I was living in the United States between my Ecuadorian and Brazilian teaching experiences. Currently, I am in a full time graduate program and tutoring for one family with an elementary school student. I would love the opportunity to help your family by nannying, tutoring, or baby-sitting part-time!
