About Laura

Hi! I'm Laura! My first professional job was a full time nanny, and after that I taught preschool for 3 years. I'm currently pursuing my doctorate in occupational therapy while also looking to work full time. I am CPR and first aid trained by the American Red Cross, have a clean, valid drivers license, and have my bachelors of science in early childhood education. I have 3 years of special needs experience. I'm passionate about connection based caretaking and am enthusiastic about nurturing children's growth and development. I believe in open, honest communication with parents, ensuring the best care possible for the child(ren) in my care. I love reading, being outside, cooking and soccer. Working with children has always been my passion, and I can't wait to connect with your family!
