About Laura

Hello! My name is Laura, and I have a deep passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in math. I hold a Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering, along with a minor in Mathematics. With over five years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students at the elementary, high school, and college levels, covering everything from basic math fundamentals to Calculus 3 and Differential Equations. Beyond tutoring, I also spent six months teaching children from kindergarten through 8th grade in Ecuador, helping them learn English. This experience strengthened my ability to connect with younger students, making learning engaging and approachable. I take pride in breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts, ensuring that students grasp the "why" behind the math, not just the steps.
