I am 36 years old and have worked with children at various preschools, centers, day cares and church base programs since I was 18. I've also worked and helped set up training workshops for the president of the Santa Maria Association for Family Child Care. I currently have 30 units in early childhood development, 3 units in health ed & CPR & First Aid certified. I love children and I treat them like my own. I'm currently nannying for a family I've been with for almost 5 years and they're moving out of state. They're now my second family and Im going to miss them dearly and was a very hard decision for me to stay as they wanted me to move with them. I would travel with them at various locations and their boys are now 2. 5 & 5yrs old. They plan on moving in the middle of March so April 1st is when I'd be available after I help them move. On my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, animals, spending time with my family and friends. Thanks for reading and message me anytime :)

I can’t say enough about Latisha; I don’t think I can fully capture how wonderful she has been for the kids and for me. Her commitment to our kids's well-being and development goes beyond the title of caregiver and she is truly a member of our family. The confidence and enthusiasm our kids display are clear indicators of the love and support they feel from Latisha. She teaches life skills in a way that is both engaging and effective. From the basics, such as putting on shoes, to teaching our children how to read, she tailors her teaching approach to the individual needs, interests, and phases of each child. The kids love to learn and do projects and I believe that is a testament to Latisha’s ability to teach the kids through play. Perhaps even more important is her expertise in helping our children navigate their emotions. Her approach is not just about managing meltdowns but also teaching them how to understand and express their feelings. The tools and techniques she employs demonstrate her deep understanding of child development: from holding boundaries gently, to redirecting their energy. I work from home and have learned a lot from watching her. Her influence extends beyond the children to positively impact our entire household. Latisha is not just a caregiver; she is a mentor, educator, and a source of inspiration. Her dedication to teaching life skills, fostering a love for learning, and guiding our children through their emotional development is amazing. We are eternally grateful for the positive impact she has had on our family, and we wholeheartedly recommend Latisha to any family seeking a nurturing and skilled caregiver.
