About Lashonda

Hi everyone! My name is Lashonda. I'm a 30-year-old full time employee of the Chatham County Board of Education working as an assistant teacher in a Pre-k classroom and work part time as both a ABA BEHAVIOR THERAPY TUTOR AND AS A SITTER FOR A LOCAL SITTER SERVICE IN THE AREA. I have several years of professional experience working with children from ages 0-16 years of age. I currently hold an AS DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION and am pending graduation this year with my BA degree in early childhood education this fall. I am also CPR AND FIRST AID CERTIFIED and have a squeaky clean criminal and driving record. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, reading, shopping and watching movies. I love working with children because of their individual uniqueness and creative mindset and the fact that I can play a role in shaping that uniqueness for when these little individuals become adult citizens of our our country. Because the children of this world are OUR FUTURE, I feel that it is my(our) rightful duty to condition positive influences into their behavior so that they will influence the rest of the world. As a caregiver/sitter I promise to do my best at solidifying a positive and save environment for your child/ren while they are in my care. Looking forward to hearing from many families soon!
