About Lashawn

I enjoy working with my elders and their conversations are just the best. I've had the pleasure of assisting each client(s) with various tasks such as grocery shopping, pharmacy pick-ups, appointments, medication reminders, physical therapy exercises, and walking. I love working with people in general because no matter how young or how old you are, you never know when you might need a helping hand. Although I do have 17 years of home care experience, I also have a personal experience with Dementia, because my mom is living with it and she lives with me. I am her caregiver because in my heart no one can take care of her better than myself. It gets hard at times but she's my mom, she's all worth it, and you only get one , so until God calls her home I'm here to do my very best to care for her and give her what she needs. I feel like I would be perfect for whomever I have the chance to work with. It's a great feeling to know that you've had a impact on someone's life for the better.
