Hello. I'm Larry. I am an experienced Caregiver of 10 years. I have cared for men to-date at both agencies and in private duty settings. I am skilled in managing memory issues, agitation/fear, and general depression in seniors. Skilled with calming patients down, redirecting patients to better mental places, and ensuring that they are content, safe, clean, and have a steady and calm care situation at home. Excellent with housekeeping, organizing, medication reminders, and "doing things how seniors tend to like them". Great with getting to know seniors and providing great companionship. Able to nudge seniors to exercise and assist provided that's in the plan of care and needed. Quickly able to seek out similar interest areas. I've done end of life care, full bed-bound care (Bed baths, bed feeding, etc). Able to assist with transfers, use a lift, board and gate belt.
