About Lara

Hi! I'm a school social worker/counselor in Philadelphia and I'm looking for childcare opportunities to supplement my income. I received my MSW from Boston College in 2022 and I'm a licensed social worker who is working towards my LCSW. I moved to Philly last August from Boston. I'd describe my personality as relaxed, positive and open. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work some extra hours each week. I started working with kids when I was 16 years old. I transitioned from babysitting jobs to working with children in school in various professional roles by age 21. In my spare time, I like to run, read, paint and spend time with my husband. One thing you should know about me is I'm very reliable. My skills include creative activities, reliable communication and ensuring a safe environment.
