Hello! I've been working in care on-and-off for the past 10 years (both in schools and privately). I've worked with children of all ages (including infants) and adults. I am deeply nourished by offering my time and presence to others. I live and approach the world/those I meet with gentleness, patience and receptivity. I'm committed to cultivating understanding, compassion and love in all my relationships, gauging how I can best support others through the cycles of life. In addition to my work in care, I'm also a certified Ayurvedic health counselor, yoga teacher and energy worker. In addition, I've had years of experience cooking and using food as medicine. I live in a mindful way, and orient myself towards friendship and healing.

Lara is an exceptional caregiver, Ayurvedic chef, calming presence, highly intelligent, reliable loving person whom any family would benefited from having as an addition to their care team. She helped me ( a 45 year old mother of two through a very intense health challenge this year that affected both physical and mental health. I couldn't have asked for a more competent, caring and capable caregiver and companion.
