About Lara

I began babysitting in 2000 for 2 families, the first with a 2-year-old girl and eventually twin sisters while the second family had a girl and 3 boys ages 6, 4, 3, and 1. Between both families I babysat about 20 hours a week until 2008 when I went off to college. I love seeing a child's capacity by exposing them to the art, architecture, nature and science in everyday things since every question is an opportunity to learn. I work very well with uniquely gifted children, especially those with aspberger's syndrome and ADHD. My favorite things to do with children include art projects, legos, taking walks, bike riding, sledding, building forts and playing house. I have a reliable car and a clean driving record and can run errands, do pick ups and drop offs and take children to various activities. In my free time I enjoy working on boats, sailing, hiking, and painting
