About Lara

I'd describe my personality as easy going, hard working and honest. I like caring for seniors because I derive a great day of satisfaction helping those in need. I love talking with seniors and hearing their life stories. I'm looking for a job where I can control the schedule due to having two teenage children. I started caring for seniors when my mother moved here from Austin 10 years ago. She is disabled (blind and has debilitating arthritis). She moved to Alpine live with my sister a few moths ago. I then started working with seniors through Home Instead. Right now, I'm filling in when people call out. This gives me control of my schedule while gaining valuable experience working with the elderly. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my teenagers and husband. We love going to Coronado and other beaches. I love reading non fiction and watching romcoms. My skills include being a good listener, cleaning, cooking basic meals and helping with acts of daily living.
