About Landyn

Hello! I'm Landyn, I am a freshman at UMass Amherst majoring in Theatre. In my free time, I love being outdoors, singing, sewing, and spending time with loved ones. I have a passion for working with kids, as I find the connections we build to be incredibly rewarding and we always have so much fun!! Over the past three summers, I've worked at a summer camp for children from Pre-K to 5th grade. I'm both Lifeguard and First Aid certified, and I frequently apply these skills. As a counselor, I resolved conflicts, led engaging activities, and promoted inclusivity, kindness, and teamwork. Last summer, I was promoted to Music/Drama Specialist, where I got to create tons of engaging games involving music and movement! I am also a big sister to (6) and (3), I cherish my time with them, and take care of them often. We love to build pillow forts, do crafts, and play make-believe, (mermaids is my favorite). I look forward to fueling creativity and adventure into more amazing memories with kiddos!
