I am a special education teacher who is transitioning out of the classroom, but I want to continue to make a positive impact. I am certified in the State of NC in the following areas- Learning Disabilities K-12, Adapted Curriculum K-12, Language Arts 6-9, EC Math K-6, EC English, EC Science, EC Social Studies, and EC General Curriculum. Most of my teaching experience has been in the self-contained setting, but I have taught inclusion English and Math and Occupational Course of Study (OCS). I enjoy teaching hands-on learning, social emotional learning, affirmations, movement, and brain breaks. I enjoy helping students discover their capabilities, and every achievement deserves a celebration!
