About Lanai

I'm passionate about caring for children and have spent the last six years working in afterschool programs and daycares. My love of working with children began when I myself was a child and loved caring for my younger family members. As I got older, my passion grew, and I decided to pursue a career in childcare. I'm patient, calm, creative, imaginative, friendly, and approachable. I believe in open communication with parents and will provide regular updates on your child's day, either verbally at pickup or via text or phone call, whichever you prefer. I also follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I'm comfortable caring for up to four children of all ages, and I have experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including board games, puzzles, and outdoor sports, as well as engaging them in creative activities like coloring, painting, and cooking.
