I'm passionate about caring for children and making their lives easier for both them and their families. My love for childcare stems from the joy I experienced while helping raise my five younger siblings. I'm known for my patience, creativity, and friendly nature, which allows me to connect with children of all ages. I believe in open and honest communication with parents and prefer to follow their preferred communication method, whether it's verbal updates during pickup or regular texts or phone calls throughout the day. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I prioritize understanding the child's perspective and finding a balance between discipline and compassion. With two years of experience caring for children, I'm comfortable taking care of up to two kids at a time. My educational background includes some college, and I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I love playing all kinds of games with kids, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles.
