About Lamei

I hold a PhD in Child Psychology and have 10 years of experience as a university professor in China, where I work with families and children for research while teaching psychology. After moving to the U. S. 3 years ago, I began pursuing licensure as a Mental Health Counselor and am currently enrolled in a professional master's program in the field. I am also interning in in-home therapy. As a mother to a 6-year-old son myself, I have a deep passion for working with children. I offer tutoring in the Mandarin Chinese language, as well as mentoring in coping skills, emotional regulation, behavior management, and social skills. I have a beautiful home in Newton with a large park right in front. Your children are welcome to come to my place for caregiving, supervised play, or tutoring, either indoors or outdoors, depending on their preference.
