About Lamei

I hold a PhD in Child Psychology and have 10 years of experience as a university professor in China, where I work with families and children for research while teaching psychology, with 30+ published articles. Plus 3 years as a journalist for China's National News Agency. After moving to the U. S. 3 years ago, I began pursuing licensure as a Mental Health Counselor and am currently enrolled in a professional master's program in the field. I am also interning in in-home therapy. As a mother to a 7-year-old son myself, I have a deep passion for working with children. I offer tutoring in the Mandarin Chinese language, as well as mentoring in coping skills, emotional regulation, behavior management, and social skills. P. S.
