About Lakisha

I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development, which led me to become a childcare provider. In my previous babysitting roles, I discovered that I enjoy caring for children and helping them learn and grow. I believe in creating a nurturing and safe environment where children can thrive. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, which helps me connect with children easily. I communicate openly with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise, either verbally at pickup or through regular text or phone call updates. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I love playing games with children, including outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I have one year of experience as a childcare provider and am comfortable caring for up to two children between the ages of six and 11. I'm also a non-smoker and comfortable with pets.
