About Laken

Hi! My name is Laken, and I began working with animals from a young age, as I was raised on a farm with horses, cattle, and dogs. My pet care skills include, but are not limited to: Canine Psychology Canine Behaviors Dog Training Animal handling Animal care Compassion - Humility Neutral body language (allows dog to feel neutral and safe) My goal is to one day own and operate a rescue for all dogs. The dogs we intake will first be seen by a veterinarian, within 24-48 hours upon their arrival. They will be loved and they will be trained in my facility, then to be re-housed to new loving companions! My plan with care.com is to climb my goal ladder by doing what I love. Caring for animals and for people!! I am all for special requests, as I am here to make your life easier!
