From a very young age I have always had a joy in working with individuals with special needs. I use to help with special Olympics in my early years, and I currently work as a Direct Support Professional at a residence where I provide care for three different individuals who have different needs ranging from autism to schizophrenia. I also did live-in private home care for a family for 3 years. I have a CNA license as well as a certification in First aid, and CPR/AED. To me the joy of knowing just how much of an impact I am having on some of these individuals lives is priceless. I have hopes of becoming a nurse one day and will choose to use each experience to make me the best nurse I can possibly be. I am very adaptable and open to learning anything I need to in order to be of assistance to the individual I am caring for. And I am a very reasonable and reliable person!
