About Laina

Hello! My name is Laina, and I am a second-grade teacher based in Baldwin County, AL. I've been teaching for eight years. I graduated with a BS in Elementary Education from Troy University and a M. Ed in Literacy from American College of Education. During the school year, I am available after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. During the summer I am available morning or afternoon Monday - Friday. I specialize in helping students improve their skills in reading, writing, math, and study strategies. As a teacher, I understand that every child learns differently, and I tailor my lessons to meet each student's unique needs. My first five years of teaching were spent in kindergarten before moving to second grade.
