About Laila

As a college student majoring in Nursing, working at a physical therapy clinic and aspiring to be a caregiver, I'd describe my personality as outgoing, empathetic, and caring! I like working with animals because as an owner of two dogs myself, I know what it takes to make sure our companions feel cared for and safe. My skills include being compassionate, providing top care, and having patience. I started working with animals when I was younger, caring for my previous pet fish, bird, turtle, and rabbit. I first volunteered at a zoo when I was 16 and since then I've been interested in providing care to animals. I've also worked with many families as a babysitter and as a camp counselor. In my spare time, I like to read, study, listen to music, and play with my dogs.
