About Laela

Hi! My name is Laela, I'm 22 years old and am a recent graduate from VCU. I have loved taking care of kids from the time I was 10 years old, changing my baby sister's diapers and feeding her bottles. In my 10 official years of babysitting I have taken care of children ranging from newborns to teenagers. My jobs have consisted of date night babysitting, summer nannying, and overnight stays. In my experience I have helped with meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation, before and after school routines, homework help, and bedtimes. I love getting to know the kids I take care of and it's important to me to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment that aligns with family needs and parenting styles. I enjoy engaging in children's interests and hobbies and early childhood development needs. In the past I have been a lifeguard and swim coach, so I have water safety skills and have been CPR certified. People that know me would describe me as caring and warm, with a lively personality.
