I started watching children at a young age, as I have two younger brothers and was always in charge of looking after them when my parents weren't around. After high school, I attended Northwest Nannies to get a child development degree. In the program, I took a practicum class for the Providence Hospital taking care of toddlers in their daycare center. After I finished school, I got a job at the YMCA teaching and watching over the children, ranging from babies to Pre-K kindergartners. I loved my job there, and I loved working with all the children. After a while of being at the YMCA, I wanted to know what other child care centers were like, so when I got a job offer from Montessori, I took it to try something new.
