About Lacey

I have been working in the child care industry for the past seven years. I worked in a daycare as infant room teacher for a year. I moved forward to a private preschool called the Goddard School in Camas Washington where I worked with toddlers age 12-18 months. At the school I also subbed in classroom of infants to school age. Due to Covid I left the Goddard School after almost 5 years and pursued being a nanny. I was a nanny for a school age child and a toddler. As a nanny I did homeschooling/assisting in online learning for kindergarten and first grade. I love being able to help children thrive not only in the education aspect but with creativity. We often bake, go for nature walks, do yoga, read together and arts and crafts. I left the job as a nanny to move to the Big Island with my husband as he pursues his career. We live in Hawi with our two cats. In my personal time I love indulging in a good book, cooking and spending my time outside with my husband.
