About Lacey

As a caring and responsible childcare provider with over 16 years of experience and a mother I am passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. My journey into childcare began with babysitting roles, where I discovered the joy of positively impacting young lives. I also have a lot of experience with children and individuals who have intellectual disabilities. My uncle had Down syndrome and played a huge part of my life. I also have worked for the Midwestern IU4 for 2 years, BASD special ed program for 4 years, and for ARC program for 2 years. My approach to childcare is centered around creativity and imagination, fostering a friendly and approachable environment. I believe in open communication with parents, and promptly addressing any issues that may arise. When it comes to activities, I enjoy a wide range of games from outdoor activities and games to board games and puzzles. I also am First Aid trained, CPR trained and have my own vehicle.
