About Lacey

I live in Colorado Springs with my husband, two cats, a dog, and a baby on the way. We love to camp, play board games, watch movies, play pickle ball, and take our dog on walks. I personally love to read and play piano. I have been an elementary teacher for the last five years teaching grades k-5. I have a passion for working with kids and helping them learn and grow as individuals. Teaching has taught me that all children are unique and are easy to bond with once you gain trust. I have a strong background in setting expectations and behavior management. My experience has brought me more knowledge on arts and crafts, learning outside the classroom, music, and hands on experiences. Not only have I been a teacher but I worked in nursery as well as nannied for multiple other families. I am comfortable with cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc. I do have a valid drivers license. I am CPR trained and have worked with children with severe allergies.
