About Lacey

Hello! My name is Lacey and I'm looking to be a caregiver. I'm at Sierra college studying to be a registered dietitian. Part of my future job is communicating and assisting to the needs of others. I'd love to be involved with helping nurture people's lives in any way I can now. I've had experience caregiving for my grandmother. She was 91 and had macular degeneration which meant she couldn't see well. I would bring her groceries, bathe, housekeeping, prepare food, and spend time together reading. We made even the most mundane tasks fun by talking and would end up giggling like little kids. I have a soft spot for caregiving as well from being on the other side of things. Growing up I had a chronic illness and needed support from my family. That experience deepened my appreciation for the work of caregiving. Let me know if I could be a good fit for you or your family.
