About Kyra

I do my absolute best to meet my partners where they are, and to make taking the next step forward feel fun, or silly, or cool, or weird, or at the very least lame. Because whatever it is, it's not impossible. I've done informal tutoring in bits and pieces since high school, but my primary experience is in natural history education/interpretation on behalf of both the National Park Service and US Forest Service. It was at those jobs that I learned how much I love working with kids, and they're why I'm here now. I'll be the first to admit that I'm young and a bit inexperienced, but I've got stellar test scores to back up my knowledge, and (much more importantly) a lot of smiling faces to back up my skills.
