I have worked with youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and dual diagnoses since 2017. As a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, the majority of my work has focused on strengthening independent living and social skills through community integration and recreation. I believe every individual, regardless of ability, posses unique strengths that they can nurture to lead independent and joyful lives. I've always followed the concept that I learn just as much from the folks I support as they may learn from me, and I've been grateful for every lesson!
