My experience with professional childcare started around 14 years years ago when I spent a summer as a live-in nanny to a 6-year-old with health & behavioral difficulties. I continued to provide childcare throughout the years while pursuing my career as a chef. My desire to care for others led me on a path to co-founding a psychotherapy practice which specializes in working with lgbtq+ adolescents. While I am not a psychotherapist myself, I'm passionate about this type of work and find it to be incredibly fulfilling. In my spare time I love to read, create art, meditate, foster senior & special needs dogs, and most of all- gardening and being in nature. I love to incorporate nature, science, and art into my activities with kids, and have the most fun when we're all learning together! I'm more than happy to provide letters of recommendation from parents, as I'm brand new to this app and haven't posted any reviews yet. I look forward to meeting you!
