I have 6 year of experience petsitting and house sitting. I grew up with a lot of pets, including cats, dogs, chickens, and fish. Several of our pets had medical issues, especially as they got older, so I know how to handle any medication or other health needs. Before moving to Wilmington, I volunteered at an animal shelter for about 2 years. We worked with dogs who had recently been rescued with a wide variety of medication and behavioral needs. With this work it was so important to understand and respect a pet's boundaries, especially if they're meeting someone new. I also have a cat myself that I care for.
