Hi! I'm Kai - a playful, trustworthy, former teacher and half marathoner who values empowering kids through patience, kindness, compassionate listening, and just the right amount of firmness (without being scary!). As an Auntie to 8 kids under 12, I am sweet and silly, but know how to direct children and support growth and understanding while developing healthy behavior. I love sharing my passion for plants, singing, healthy cooking, and making it fun and engaging for kids. Let's work together to provide care that's as unique as your family! With over 20 years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with children in many different settings. From teaching middle schoolers and nannying for many families to creating curriculum as a summer camp counselor for gifted youth, I've gained a well-rounded perspective on child development. I've also earned a degree in Cognitive Science, giving me a deep understanding of how kids learn and grow. Let's connect!
