While obtaining my Bachelor's degree in athletic training from the University of Nebraska, I worked as a home health aide for adults of many ages with varying needs such as help with skills of daily living, appointment or errand running, memory care, hygiene care, and hospice. My favorite part of this job was getting the opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with my clients and their families who quickly became family to me. I recently moved back to Lincoln after earning my Master's degree in adult and higher education from the University of Oklahoma and now work as an athletic trainer for the University of Nebraska track and field program.
