Most of my experiences have been with seniors, but I am the mother of a 6yr old Autistic child. I was also blessed with caring for a 19yr old Autistic girl while working with her mother. It was a wonderful learning experience for me. It also gave me hope that things do get better. I understand fully how difficult things can be sometimes when raising a special needs child. They require a lot of love, time and patience. I am here to lend a hand. We all need an extra hand or a little break sometimes.
