About Krystina
Experience: 6 yrs
I have experience working with children from 0 to 18 years old. I've worked for a church summer camp as a counselor for 4 summers so I am used to working with children in an overnight setting as well. I will be getting a background check soon, but I was also background checked with that previous job. I love music, animals, outdoor activities, and being intentional in getting to know the people I work with. I am CPR & First Aid Certified with the American Red Cross Association as a High ropes facilitator(rock climbing, zip lining) as well as a lifeguard(pool & waterfront). I've also worked in my church's preschool where I cared for newborns to 6-year-olds when parents attended week night groups.

As our workplaces reopened and daycare options were still quite limited, we Tina her to care for our 7 month old daughter in July of 2020 and she started immediately. She was hired full time, M-F, and we had the opportunity to directly observe her care of Hannah as we worked from home for several months. Her focus and ability to 'connect' with Hannah was apparent from the beginning and never faltered. She took care of the practical manners such as diapers and feeding, but more importantly she worked diligently to promote Hannah's development with books, educational toys, and exposure to new experiences. She took Hannah for daily walks, sang with her, and had extremely helpful insights she had gained from her other caregiver experiences. We were quite sad when she moved to Georgia, but her impact on our family still resonates as Hannah blows us kisses and sings with Disney movies. We recommend Tina without reservation and will always think of her as part of of our family.
