About Kristy

Hi, I'm Kris, a professional nanny with over 15 years experience. I have worked with families with children ranging in age from newborn to teens, twins, multiple children, and nanny shares. In addition, I have experience as a preschool teacher. My previous employers would describe me as patient, nurturing, flexible, and fun. I take a hands on approach with children and enjoy planning stimulating and enriching activities, such as trips to playgrounds and parks, reading, arts and crafts, age appropriate cooking, setting up and hosting playdates, and imaginative play. I believe in positive discipline and listening to children. I am an excellent cook and am happy to prepare meals for the children as well as the entire family. I personally tend to eat a healthy diet so I knowledgable about nutrition. I can sneak veggies in for even the pickiest of eaters, and make desert healthy. I am comfortable taking on schedule and house management tasks for the family as well.
