I am available for short -time or part-time house and pet sitting. My experience is mostly routine; every day care of dogs, cats and horses in their homes while their owners are away for a anywhere from a few hours to a couple of weeks. Typical tasks include: dogs: feeding, watering, bringing inside for the evening, reopening dog doors for day light hours, crating for the evening, following owners instructions for housebreaking, gently redirecting from problem behaviors, keeping dogs with separation anxiety company, playing fetch, petting, belly rubs, and in general hanging out. Cat duties include feeding, watering, cleaning cat box, and playing with toys. Horse duties include feeding per owner's instruction, watering, light grooming, applying fly spray, removing manure from corrals and pastures, calling to report possible lameness or illnesses to owners, walking horses with colic, and assisting with vet visits. I work full-time and have a mostly traditional Monday-Friday schedule. I am unable to take off in order to house or pet sit. I do, however, sometimes take jobs during the week that only require me to be there in the evening or over night.
