I am a certified teacher of Early Childhood Education, which includes ages newborn-third grade. I have extensive experience with specifically teaching pre-K children how to read so that they are confident readers by the time they enter Kindergarten. I have taught in the Kindergarten and first grade classroom, as well as privately, in homes with families. Whether you are looking to get your 3 or 4-year-old started on reading, need some help brushing up on early reading skills, or need to make sure your early reader doesn't fall behind during the summer months, I would be happy to help out!

In early 2017, we hired Kristi to aid us in getting our children on their school buses in the morning, and to get them from their buses in the afternoon (for one day a week). She is responsible for making them breakfast, helping them with homework, and making them dinner. Kristi loves our children, and they love her. Our children (now 11 and 8) look forward to seeing her every week. Kristi is kind and loving while being firm, offers great feedback/advice, and even succeeded in getting my daughter to eat eggs from the beginning - no small feat! Recently, we screened our son for ADHD - something Kristi advised us to do an entire year earlier. Her instincts were spot-on. Kristi gave us feedback for the doctor and for the 504 meeting at our son's school. I highly recommend Kristi for any childcare and/or tutoring/educational positions. She is extremely professional and GREAT at what she does. We have all gained a great friend in her. (Mar. 4, 2020)
