I have earned my teaching certificate for children ages newborn-3rd grade, and have taught in pre-K, kindergarten, and first grade classrooms. I have earned my B. A. in Psychology with a minor in Early Childhood Ed, and my Master's in Early Childhood Ed. Pre-COVID, I founded and ran a literature-based art/cooking program for kids ages 2-15 years. Nannying/tutoring: Children can lose up to 4mo. of learning over the summer. I'll keep your child on track while maintaining a healthy respect for their need for a break from structured school. Consulting: I have a special knack for solving behavioral issues, and have worked with families to implement strategies and equip them with communicative tools that encourage healthy and respectful interactions. Kristi was great with our 11 year old twins. She is a safe driver, and has excellent suggestions for addressing behavior issues. My girls loved her and enjoyed spending time with her. She communicated with us constantly, and we were confident that our girls were safe with Kristi. We also knew that they would have a great time.
