I love interacting with children. I have always been a caretaker at heart even when I am not working as a caretaker. I have 9 years experience working with special needs kids and adults, and as a caregiver for elderly and the disabled. I have gone through a few agencies such as: Maxim Healthcare Services for adults with special needs, Behavioral Technician with Maxim Healthcare Staffing (a 2nd grader with autism), young adult with special needs with Lighthouse Living Services. I started out by taking care of my mom as I was 18 and still in high school. After I graduated at 19, I got a job as a cafeteria worker at Kaiser Permanente and I got a few other clients with In Home Supportive Services (agency my mom used). That's when I have decided caretaking is for me. I love taking care of people. I have always had it in my. Now I have my own pet care business I started over a year ago. I'm a human (adults, special needs, and kids) and pet caregiver now and absolutely love what I do! Thanks
