Hello, my name is Kristin. I am a 24-year-old graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have experience with taking care of someone with dementia, as my late grandmother had dementia for about 5 years & lived at my home with my family - who also helped care for her. I would make her meals, ensure she took her medications, keep her company, and assist with mobility through helping her walk around. I believe it is so important to care for those who have cared for so many before us, and that is why I would like to dedicate even a little of my time to helping the older population.
