I'm a passionate visual artist and enthusiastic child mentor with a BA from Columbia University. With 10 years of experience in the arts, I blend creativity, education, and care to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for kids. My experience in the visual arts allows me to introduce children to the enchanting world of colors, shapes, and storytelling, encouraging them to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways. My approach prioritizes face-to-face interaction and hands-on learning, fostering a deeper connection and engagement with children. I advocate for cognitive exploration, whether through crafts, reading, or physical activity over passive screen time - believing that active participation in learning and art-making significantly contributes to a child's development. Please note my rate starts at $35/hour for 1 child and can scale up depending on the scope of care required. I'm happy to provide further information upon request.
