About Kristin

I recently retired after teaching at community colleges for 23 years. I enjoy a busy life, but realized that I was missing kids in my life. For the past six months I have cared for twins that were 12-day old premies the first time I babysat for them. I spend every Tuesday with them and watch as they grow into unique little individuals that I love more every week. Because the twins are in foster care, (and hopefully their permanent home), I have passed the required Oregon DHS background check. I would like to find another family to work with one or two days a week (I would love to find another with an infant or toddler) on a long-term basis. I am also open to babysitting for families that need occasional help for date nights or the other things that life sometimes throws at us.
