Hi I'm Krissy, and I moved here from Connecticut in November. Ready for a change in my life and sunny weather! In Connecticut I worked for the Department of Developemental Services for the past 10 years. I had 5 adult clients with different needs. Love them all! So sweet. Two have cerebral palsy and are wheelchair bound, one has autism, and the other client has spinal biffita and is also wheelchair bound. I've taken them on daytrips, gone on group vacations, and participated in Special Olympics. I learned to remain calm and be flexible. What you plan to do can change and everything will be alright. I find this work very rewarding and a great learning experience.
